This year my A to Z challenge is about Christmas, a major festival in the Christian Church. Another major festival is Easter, which I wrote about for the A to Z Challenge in 2020.
Wonder and worship are perhaps the words most associated with Christmas. Wonder in the sense of wonderful, not meant sarcastically but innocently, leads people to worship. The magi from Letter M had come to worship the new-born king. Children learn the Christmas carol, We three kings of orient are, with its chorus: Star of wonder, star of light and it is part of many Nativity plays.
There are many Christmas carols with the word wonder. As a member of a Church choir and another choir which has included a concert of Christmas songs and carols in its annual activities, I am familiar with many carols.
I wonder as I wander and No small wonder* are two with the word wonder in the title. The Incarnation is something to wonder about and marvel at.

While this year’s A to Z badges by Anjela Curtis honour the late Jeremy Hawkins, I hope that my posts about Christmas honour Jesus Christ, ‘who was and is and is to come’. Revelation 1:4
