In my A to Z posts for 2020 I looked at the Easter story, which was appropriate for the time of year. Easter was midway through April that year.
This year my posts are not synced with the season as I have decided to look at the Christmas story. Unlike Easter, which is a movable feast and can fall in March or April depending on the cycles of the moon, Christmas Day is always 25th December.
Many writers find themselves writing about events at other times of the year due to the lead time required for publication. Blogging is different, although for a project like this I usually prepare my posts well in advance. Although I began preparing before Christmas 2021, writing in the relevant seasons, these posts will appear in a different season from the subject-matter.
I am writing for people of any faith or none to explain what the Christian festival of Christmas is all about. I hope you will find this interesting whether you know everything or hardly anything about Christmas.
Christianity is a faith, not a philosophy. Psalm 34:8 Taste and see that the Lord is good.
Sounds interesting!

Christmas is one of those things we think we know a lot about, but I bet there are a lot to learn about it.

Great theme! I’m a Christian, but still relatively new to the faith and I think I could definitely benefit from learning more.

I’ll be including links to the Bible and a song with each post, Astrid. I hope you find it helpful.
