Q is for Question-setter

This April on Sue’s Trifles the theme is the names of God.  There may be more than one name for some of the letters.  There may be others I have omitted.  I hope that by going through the alphabet together we may learn more about the nature of God who is Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Letter Q

Some letters for this challenge are rather difficult.  I did not find a recognised name for God beginning with Q.  However we can look at Jesus and how he asked and answered questions.

Question-setter describes Jesus.  He began at the age of twelve years in the Temple asking the teachers of the Law so many questions that he was left behind by his family returning to Nazareth!  Luke 2:41-52

Many people, who asked him questions later, were answered with another question.

Mark 2:18-19 and Mark 2:23-25 are examples, but there are many more.  The Gospel according to Mark is the shortest of the books of the Bible describing Jesus’ life.  Have you read it?  The ladies’ Bible study group I belong to began looking at it in January using a helpful book by an Australian author.  (Mark: The Servant King by Paul Barnett).
