Precious

Someone who can do no wrong.

This is not a compliment as a rule, rather a comment on someone’s unconditional love. For instance, a parent’s love for a child.
Only one person has ever lived and done nothing wrong. Even Pontius Pilate, who had authority to let him live or condemn him to death, said, “But he has done nothing to deserve death.” Luke 23:15
It was a long time ago of course. So long ago that it is hardly relevant today. Or is it?
The day after Christmas Day is St Stephen’s day. Stephen said (in a speech reviewing God’s dealings with his people), “They even killed those who predicted the coming of the Righteous One. And now you have betrayed and murdered him.” Acts 7:52
The Righteous One he was speaking of was Jesus Christ.

Stephen saw the heavens opened and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God. Acts 7:56
Yes, Jesus of Nazareth lived and died about two thousand years ago. But He broke the power of death and rose to life again. Luke 24
He ascended into heaven and is alive today. Acts 1:1-11
Many people today know the truth of his words and know Jesus as our Saviour. John 14:15-21
