In the style of King David – A song of praise to God
The sun rises and sets at your command,
You hold creation in your powerful hand.
The rain waters the good earth;
There will not be a dearth of crops
unless the rain stops
for a long time.
You control time
and measure the length of our days.
May they be filled with praise.
We praise you for your creation;
we bring our adoration.
Praise you for our food.
You made all things good.
Praise to the living God
with his staff and rod.
